The Closed Caption plugin lets you upload the caption of your audio/video, which can be automatically displayed when your audience listens to your podcast.
The caption is a written record of spoken language. It is expected to be an exact and unedited record of every spoken word. The caption can reduce ambiguity and help with understanding. They’re an important tool for accessibility.
There are two options for you to add the transcripts to your episode. You can let Podbean transcribe the episode for you or manually upload your SRT file if you already have a transcript. The closed captions will show on the podcast website, embedded players, and the Podbean pro app.
1. Get the Closed Captions plugin(supported for Podbean unlimited accounts and above).
2. From your Podcast Dashboard, go to "Episodes"->"Episodes List".
3. Click the “Closed Captions” button on the right side of the podcast to which you wish to add the transcripts.
4. You can let Podbean transcribe the episode for you or manually upload your SRT file if you already have a transcript.
Available in Podbean unlimited and above plans. Upgrade to install the Closed Caption plugin.
